Our Staff

We have a dedicated and caring teaching staff who work hard to provide children with a quality learning experience.  Members of our teaching staff include:

Connie Pietrafetta, Director/Teacher
Connie has a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Special Education, and second Bachelors Degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Motor Development in Children. Connie has been teaching preschool for 34 years and has been the Owner/Director of Mansfield Children's School for 30 years.
Sue DesJardins, Co-Director/Teacher
Sue has an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and has completed coursework in Preschool Administration for certification as Director of a Preschool. Sue has been a member of our teaching staff for eleven years, during which time she was Lead Teacher for four years. She worked at a career in restaurant and retail management prior to joining our staff.
Kerry Pfeil, Teacher
Kerry has a Bachelors Degree in Human Services, and a state certification in Early Childhood Education. Kerry has been a member of our teaching staff for thirteen years, and held a position as an assistant teacher at the Mansfield Special Needs Preschool prior to joining our staff.
Julie McCarthy, Teacher
Julie has a Masters Degree in Elementary Education with a focus on language arts, and a Bachelors Degree with two majors in Elementary Education and Moderate Special Needs. Julie has been a member of our teaching staff for two years. She taught second grade for six years, and worked as a substitute teacher in grades K-2 for three years during which time she held two long-term Kindergarten positions in Mansfield. Julie held a position as chairperson for Reading is Fundamental (RIF) for five years prior to joining our staff.
Lisa Muller, Assistant Teacher/Permanent Substitute Teacher
Lisa has a Bachelors Degree in Business and Marketing, and a state certification as a Teacher in Early Childhood Education. Lisa has been a member of our teaching staff for five years. She has spent much of her time as a volunteer in the publc schools for kindergarten through grade 2, as well as assisted in Mansfield kindergarten screening. Lisa has also been a Girl Scout leader, and a volunteer preschool teacher for her church.
